About Us

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a goal of educating the expecting and new parents of Eastern North Carolina. We offer classes on pregnancy, labor and birth, the postpartum period, newborn care and feeding, and car seat safety, as well as other topics as needed.

We welcome all families, whatever your definition.

Wait, you say, what does that name even mean? How on earth do I say it?

Naissance means “birth” in French. You can say it one of two ways, either nay-SAHNCE or NAY-sense. We’re not picky.
